VoIP + Video = Better Business

With companies these days being forced to compete against others in their respective spaces to not only keep current customers satisfied but also continuously add to their client base, some next-generation tools, including VoIP and video, have proven key. Just think about it for a second: a client has a problem with a product they just bought from your business and leverage VoIP in order to remedy the situation themselves via self service.

Small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in particular find video that it utilized within a self-service model particularly beneficial. Below are some of the reasons why:

  • Pre-Sale: Time after time, showing a potential buyer how a solution can be used in a real-life scenario has proven effective. After buying the product, a customer is able to visualize the advantages and see firsthand what it does and what it can accomplish, and in turn, drive purchase rates through the roof.
  • Post-Sale Q&A: Videos powered via VoIP can eliminate the hassles associated with not being able to rapidly start using something that was just bought. “Using video to demonstrate common installation questions others have experienced will not only minimize calls to the company, but will relieve customer frustration. It is critical to be preemptive here and post videos before customers voice their concerns,” a recent blog post from Nextiva revealed.
  • Answering Customers in a Highly Intimate Manner: To encourage a client to work with your company for the long term, video is the ideal platform to do just that. Did you ever think about having a short video in place that would play once a purchase is finalized, thanking the buyer for selecting your business as opposed to another? While this idea is great, it will see even better results when the name of the customer and whatever they have bought are mentioned within the video since it makes it much more intimate. Also, if it is then placed on social networking websites like Facebook, potential customers can easily see the high level of care you deliver which could potentially sway them to form a relationship with your organization.

One firm that works hard to recognize the loyalty of its growing client base is Arizona-based Nextiva. In the video below, an employee from the business VoIP provider thanks “Bob” for his feedback.

In fact, the company has long been highlighted for its amazing service. Amazing service starts internally with people that work at Nextiva and it only hires qualified employees that are smart, efficient and fit the overall culture. “That’s what we foster and really create at Nextiva is a group of people who really are enthusiastic about delivering amazing service,” Yaniv Masjedi, vice president of Nextiva stated in a recent interview with virtual-pbx.
