Dentist Implements VoIP in Business Operations

While some of us typically associate visiting the dentist to the unholy root canal, these teeth experts are really no different from any other organization wishing to remain closely connected with their client base, establishing a loyal relationship that will bear benefits for years to come.

One way to do just that is by leveraging VoIP within these types of businesses, in order to deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Doctor Marc Kay, from Phoenix-based 19th Ave. Dental Care, stated in a recent video, “With my experiences with phone systems before Nextiva, I always felt that I was being ripped off and these companies were trying to get me to sign up for a long term contract for way too much money.”

But when partnering with the business VoIP provider, Nextiva, the dentistry was able to cut costs by nearly 50 percent when it came to its phone system, which equates to thousands of dollars a year in reductions.

This capital can then be reinvested to bolster other areas of company-wide operations that need improvement.

Kay added, “The main feature that I like is the auto rerouting. We have three receptionists in the front so if they’re all busy and their phones rings a certain number of times, it will go directly to my cell phone. Say for example there is a dental emergency, I can now answer the call and talk to the patient and let them know when to call back to make their appointment.”

Answering customer questions and letting them know you’re there at all times to assist them helps to eliminate the chances of them going to a competitor, which in turn powers a satisfactory user experience every time.

Nextiva works closely with its wide base of customers, answering questions fully in the shortest period of time possible. In fact, after an obstacle has been successfully overcome, the business VoIP expert then sends a follow-up e-mail to ask how the client’s experience was.

“As my business grows, I will continue to use Nextiva. I think it’s a great find and I being able to save money is like icing on the cake,” he concluded.

It seems that dentist practices aren’t the only ones hopping on the business VoIP train. Recently, virtual-pbx reported that law offices are also partnering with Nextiva to see some advantages.

After realizing its landline connection wasn’t helping it accomplish any of its goals, Joshua S. Davidson, a Phoenix, Ariz.-based office, began to leverage Nextiva’s NextOS technology to raise its employee’s level of efficiency higher than ever seen previously.
