QuorumLabs Names New Senior VP of Sales, Enjoys Strong Growth

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

QuorumLabs has extended its executive power with the addition of industry veteran Chris Moore. The company announced that Moore will serve as senior vice president of sales and business development. His appointment comes just as the company is enjoying rapid customer growth, increasing its reseller base and expanding the operations of the company.

“Once I saw the onQ business continuity appliance from QuorumLabs, I knew I had to be a part of this company,” said Chris Moore of QuorumLabs, in a statement. “At a previous company, KACE (News - Alert) Networks, I saw first-hand the key ingredients for success, and I see many similarities with QuorumLabs. Both companies offer a unique appliance-based system that’s simple for customers and friendly for the channel. And the onQ solution addresses an even broader need for near-instant business continuity.”

Moore brings strong leadership to the company, as well as a consistent track record of building and leading high performance sales teams. Moore served as senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing for GlobalView Software, before joining QuorumLabs. Prior to that position, he served as vice president of worldwide sales for KACE Networks. Moore has also held senior sales executive roles with companies such as AvantGo, Genesys (News - Alert) Telecommunications, ParcPlace-Digitalk and NeXT.

As company leaders are excited about this new executive placement, QuorumLabs is also celebrating the addition of new resellers to its expanding Partner Program. This program was designed to allow value added resellers (VARs) to deliver sophisticated business continuity solutions to their customers in an appliance package that is promoted as affordable and easy-to-use.

“The onQ solution opens up doors for us with a compelling offering that’s not available from the competition.  onQ is packaged in a way that makes upgrading from traditional backup to business continuity easy and affordable for any business,” said John Zammett, president of HorizonTek, Inc. “QuorumLabs is easy to work with and they’re genuinely interested in our success, giving us access to their key developers and sales people.”

According to Andrew Betterton, president and CEO of Open Storage Solutions, the market is lacking in products that allow you to log into a Web browser, click a button and initiate complete system protection in less than a minute. onQ takes it one step further to extend complete business continuity that is easy and affordable. As a result, the company provides customers with the peace of mind to know that their data and applications will be up and running within minutes of a disaster.

QuorumLabs is enjoying steady growth in the customer base with its onQ solution, positioned as delivering elegant simplicity and affordability in the market. The company recently named Boulay, Heutmaker, Zibell & Co. P.L.L.P and a large Southwest power supplier as new customers.
