Pactolus Expands, Adds New Managers and Directors

Pactolus Communications Software Corporation recently has enjoyed a sharp increase in its customer base. In order to serve its clients—and support expansion into the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the Americas—the company yesterday announced the appointment of three new managers and four new directors.
A developer of SIP-based IP voice services, Pactolus claims to provide the telecom industry’s most broadly deployed and most comprehensive VoIP applications portfolio.
That portfolio includes the SIPware suite (a scalable, adaptable voice service solution) and the RapidFLEX platform for service creation and delivery.
In a press release about the new appointments, Pactolus CEO Paul Blondin predicted that the telecom industry’s transition to IMS will further increase demand for the company’s products and services.
The company’s new manager and directors are introduced below.
Robert Carnagey, Director of Sales, Western Region
Cardnagey previously served as VP of North American Sales for IP Unity, and in sales at Personeta.
Christopher Darsch, Director of VAR Sales
Darsch was promoted from his previous post at Pactolus as leader of the company’s Sales Engineering Team. Prior to Pactolus, he held management positions at AudioCodes and Brooktrout Technology (now part of Cantata Technology).

Albert Silva, Director of Project Management
Before joining Pactolus, Silva served on the VP-level at Priority Call, Inc. (now part of uReach Technologies), where he helped the company through its acquisition by SEMA, Schlumber, and Atos.
John Tallarico, Director of Product Management
Tallarico’s previous industry experience included stints at Nuance, Priority Call Management (now part of uReach Technologies), Glenayre, and Boston Communications Group. He holds an MBA from University of New Haven.
Brooke Mohnkern, Sales Manager Eastern Region
Mohnkern was promoted after establishing himself at Pactolus by landing some key wins for the company.
Tom Regan, Sales Engineering Manager
Regan brings a deep knowledge of Pactolus’s SIPware Service portfolio to his new position. Previously, he held customer-service-related positions at Alestra, LatiNode, Primus Canada and several other companies.
“We were extremely selective in recruiting this new layer of leaders to help us continue to scale and meet market demand," Blondin noted of the new team members.
Blondin continued: “The result is a talented, experienced team that will maximize our customers’ IP voice services profitability, and drive the successful migration of new customers beyond stove-piped IP service network infrastructures and expensive, fixed-scale applications.
