Zupintra Communications, Inc., has successfully integrated the “Talking SIP” platform from IVR
Technologies, Inc., into its infrastructure.
IVR’s platform is an advanced, software-only, SIP-based application, media and billing server that provides revenue generating applications to next generation networks with prepaid, postpaid and multi-level real-time billing models, in a fully scalable and extensible architecture.
“The deployment of the Talking SIP
platform is the first of many steps in the release of our retail telecommunications products worldwide,” said John Alexander (Lex) van Arem, CEO of Phinder Technologies, in a statement.
Alexander continued: “Building upon our existing Nextone (News - Alert)-powered wholesale telecommunications infrastructure, the addition of retail services like prepaid consumer services for payphone and cellphone users is a natural progression in expanding our service offering and increasing our revenues and profit margins.”
According to Chris Hall, COO of Zupintra Communications, the Talking SIP is well regarded as the leading product in its class, and with the addition of select proprietary design elements Zupintra is releasing unique and compelling products which are especially built to meet the needs of retail distribution channels.
IVR Technologies received Frost & Sullivan’s 2006 Product Innovation of the Year Award for its contributions to the field of interactive voice response (IVR) technologies based on the session initiation protocol (SIP).
Phinder Technologies' core business runs through its wholly owned subsidiary, Zupintra Communications, a facilities-based wholesaler of international voice traffic within the carrier-to-carrier network.
The Frost & Sullivan's Product Innovation of the Year Award is presented each year to a company that has demonstrated excellence in developing new products and technologies within their industry.
