CTI Group Partnership Brings Hosted VoIP Call Recording to SMBs

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

In today’s marketplace, with more and more businesses turning to VoIP communications for the cost savings and other benefits it provides, the need to deliver top quality solutions is increasing.

For small businesses that are looking to take advantage of the various tools and applications also offered with VoIP, a new partnership between CTI Group and CommPartners Connect, a nationwide CLEC certified network operator, is the answer.

Together, the companies will combine their IP-based applications on a network engineered for business quality VoIP to deliver call recording capabilities to SMBs.

Provided via CTI (News - Alert) Groups SmartRecord IP hosted VoIP call recording application, CommPartners is able to offer call recording “directly from the switch.” Not only is it easier and more cost effective, but this makes the offering even more failsafe and secure than add-on call recoding solutions.

"By partnering with industry leaders like CommPartners Connect, we believe we are providing our solution, SmartRecord IP, with the very best backbone possible to reach the VoIP market,” said Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer, CTI Group (News - Alert), Inc.

“Our hope is to make the solutions that have previously only been available to the biggest companies available to every company. The benefit that tools like SmartRecord IP can have to smaller businesses is astronomical and gives those smaller companies the ability to be competitive with their larger competitors. CTI Group hopes to level the playing field by offering all businesses equal access to monitoring and management tools like SmartRecord IP."

SmartRecord IP not only makes it possible to have call recording without a premise-based solution, but also makes recordings available on the Web, so training and support for the app is also greatly reduced.

Earlier this month, the company also announced a partnership with hosted VoIP provider Alteva (News - Alert) to help the company meet the growing needs of the VoIP industry by offering the latest applications and features.

“We are proud to join forces with Alteva to provide call recording to the hosted VoIP market. By adding applications, like call recording, to their platform, Alteva is able to provide cost effective features their customers need to fully transition to hosted VoIP,” said Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer, CTI Group.
