Auto Dialer Provider Sponsors Philanthro Connect to Support Non-Profit Efforts

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Auto dialer solutions provider, CallFire, is a key sponsor of Philanthro’s Connect 2011. This innovative event is a forum designed to enable emerging technology companies to interact with the non-profit community. The event is part social and part educational.

The 300+ event attendants are generally made up of socially-conscious young professionals yearning to be on the cutting-edge. Local and national non-profits will also be on hand to learn all about the wide-spread use of social media tools. Professionals engaged in the technology and media industries will also be in attendance, as well as influential bloggers and social media players.

CallFire, a leader in the auto dialer space, offers significant opportunities for non-profits seeking to expand their reach and capitalize on growing opportunities in the marketplace. As SMS marketing is taking the nation by storm, it has made its way into political campaigns, capital campaigns and other non-profit initiatives.

SMS and auto dialer technologies also enable such capabilities as text surveys, which have proven to be less intrusive than voice surveys; registration reminders that can be customized by state; absentee ballot information customized according to voting area; event registrations; important announcements; fun messages and photos; down-ballot promotions; and even election day reminders.

Texting is also being used to help drive donations for local and national organizations. Examples include the Red Cross initiative to support those affected by the devastation in Japan this spring. Interested supporters where able to simply text a short code to a specific number and agree to pay a set amount to support that particular cause. The Red Cross was able to use this initiative to raise more than $32 million for the disaster in Haiti.

CallFire is a company that is not just focused on driving its auto dialer solutions to the customer base. This provider is also delivering solutions that enable consumers and non-profits to work together to improve the community for all. CallFire consistently seeks out ways to add value for customers and is working with non-profits on a beta program to advance giving.

The auto dialer provider also offers voice broadcast technology that can be used to push out messages to thousands of people to increase awareness. Calls can be placed at a pace of 50 calls-per-minute, with increased speeds available upon request. Voice broadcast calls can be used to achieve many of the same initiatives as SMS, only using voice.

CallFire also enables organizations to create messages, surveys and auto attendants with hosted IVR. All processes can be customized according to the organization and the campaign, helping clients to easily meet their goals.
