RadiSys Enhances its RAPP Ecosystem with Solution Partners

RadiSys, a global provider of application-ready software and hardware platforms, has added the Solution Partners category to its RadiSys (News - Alert) Alliance Partner Program.

This move will deliver a broad portfolio of integrated standards-based solutions for next-generation networks. The team of RadiSys and its new Solution Partners will jointly offer service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers more complete network-ready solutions.

These solutions will significantly lower of development risk and time-to-market for new revenue-generating services, said RadiSys officials.

According to Anthony Ambrose, vice president and general manager, RadiSys is committed to providing customers with integrated solutions that will address their aggressive time-to-market goals for deploying next-generation networks and new applications.

And in turn, RadiSys is focusing on enhancing its already broad RAPP ecosystem with Solution Partners so that it can provide its customers with a variety of higher value, complete solutions. This will ultimately minimize their resource requirements and maximize their returns.

RadiSys’ Service Provider and TEM customers can now access pre-integrated, revenue-generating service solutions for next-generation networks and services. These include voicemail, unified communications, IP contact center and multimedia conferencing. A number of well-established companies are Media Server Solution Partners, including AGNITY, Aonta Technologies, Centile, Contarra Systems, Ethrix, NetDev, uReach (News - Alert) Technologies and Wandy.

RadiSys has also added AdvancedTCA solution partners. RadiSys has said it will deliver the industry’s first 40G ATCA system to support the next generation of high-bandwidth applications including LTE, WiMAX (News - Alert), Femtocell Gateways and Mobile Video.

The company has also added ATCA Solution Partners to deliver complete network element solutions to TEMs.

The ATCA Solution Partners include Ankeena Networks, Clavister, Kineto Wireless, and Zeus Technology (News - Alert).

The Alliance Partner Program provides srvice poviders with pre-integrated, revenue-generating services solutions and OEM customers with a variety of standards-based building blocks in the industry.

Participants in RAPP include providers of solutions, application-specific stacks, silicon, hardware building blocks, operating systems and middleware, as well as channel distributors and pre-sale and after-sale service providers.
