Speck Intros New Cases for Western Digital's My Passport, Smaller Portable Hard Drives

Speck, a Palo Alto (News - Alert), Calif.-based provider of cases, bags and packs for the latest popular portable electronic devices, reportedly has introduced its latest line of cases specially designed for the recently-launched Western Digital’s My Passport portable storage device, other smaller portable hard drives, as well as electronic devices.



 
The newest line of cases rolled-out by Speck recently include: SkinPro, TwoZip and TechStyle. All the three offerings are available in three all-new distinctive designs and styles, Speck said.
 
Speck’s new SkinPro is specially designed for 2009 model of Western Digital’s (News - Alert) My Passport, which is an ultra-portable hard drive available in different models and also featuring USB interface. The SkinPro can fit snugly onto the device like a suite of silicone armor. This new protective case for My Passport device protects the storage device from inevitable confrontation that comes with life on the road, thereby protecting user’s important files.
 
Available for $19.95, Speck’s SkinPro comes with an integrated cable management system that is built into the side of the case, which keeps the USB cord handy without adding bulk. Additionally, openings for full access to ports and plugs have also been provided.
 
Speck’s new TwoZip case features two inventive built-in zippered storage compartments. This compact, low profile case is designed to keep Western Digital’s My Passport portable hard drive or similarly-sized portable gadget. It can keep the device safe and snug on one side, while can keep device’s mandatory cords, chargers and other small accessories neatly organized and accessible on the other side.
 
Priced at $24.95, Speck’s TwoZip is available in two super-cool styles, Restart Greyscale Pixel and Speakeasy (News - Alert) Pinstripe. This protective case is also provided with soft and padded interior with micro-fleece lining that is lightly colored.
 
Speck’s TechStyle is a rugged, molded, hard, lightweight protective zippered case, which is ideal for protecting both new and previous-models of Western Digital’s My Passport portable hard drive or similarly-sized portable gadget.
 
Available for $19.95, Speck’s new TechStyle protective case features a built-in velcro interior strap that protects the drive from shocks. It has room for few small cables or other accessories. Additionally, it is available with weather-resistant feature, as well., Speck’s SkinPro protective case’s profile also fits inside the TechStyle and TwoZip cases or any other bag.
