The Indianapolis 500-Mile Race or historically known simply as "The 500," is an American automobile race held annually over the Memorial Day weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. The event lends its name to the IndyCar class of formula (open-wheel) race cars that compete in the race.

In its announcement about the gift bags, Newton Peripherals compared its MoGo Mouse with cars at the Indy 500, touting the mouse’s sleek design and ability to deliver high performance. The mouse’s embedded Bluetooth technology provides control of iTunes, YouTube (News - Alert), Windows Media Player and other media from 30 feet away. It is also a multimedia remote which stores charges at the laptop’s ExpressCard/54 slot removing the need for cords, batteries or cables.
