) Printing Solutions, subsidiary of OKI Data Americas, announced the launch of its C710 series digital color printers. The printers features high definition (HD) color technology that enhances speed. It also boasts a low cost per page (CPP) with more flexibility to help medium-to-large workgroups that cannot afford high costs associated with outsourced color printing.
OKI Data Americas, a subsidiary of OKI Data Corporation of Japan, markets PC peripheral equipment and customized document management solutions under the OKI Printing Solutions brand. The company develops digital color and monochrome printers, color and monochrome multifunction products and serial impact dot matrix printers, as well as a full line of options, accessories and consumables.
OKI C710 Series of digital color printers are part of new suite of A4 color printers that was recently introduced, in order to enhance in-house color printing.
The C710 Series printer with fast print and processor speeds are said to be ideal for retailers/businesses that make use of in-store banners, or government and financial agencies that are developing presentations and reports. This facilitates with increased productivity of the end-user.
"The C710 Series touts all of the features of a high-end, mid-workgroup printer at the price you might expect from a desktop printer," said Mike Garofola, Sr. Marketing Manager, Color Products at OKI Data Americas, in a statement.
Garofola added: "We developed the C710 Series for businesses that need to produce high-quality color output and are spending too much of their budget on outsourcing. With its advanced capabilities, including extensive media handling and our HD-quality color technology, businesses can save time and money on in-house, professional-looking color printing."
One of the key features of C710 Series is enhanced media control and flexibility. With this the printer can handle heavy-weight media up to 220gsm and unique banners up to 8.5" x 47.25" for printing a wide variety of business documents and specialized output in-house.
C710 Series’ high-definition digital color qualities at 1200 x 600 dpi are ideally suited for sharp detail and rich, dramatic color print-outs. Its fast print speeds of 32 ppm mono and 30 ppm color are ideally suited for everyday business printing at the highest resolution setting that facilitates optimizing mid-workgroup performance and enhanced output quality.
C710 Series printers that incorporates fast processor speeds features 700 MHz hat can enhance productivity. Its hard disk drive option that is increased from 20 GB to 40 GB also contributes to increased speeds and performance. The printers have maximum paper capacity of 1,690 pages that can save time and thereby increasing productivity.
C710 Series printers are based OKI’ advanced printing technologies such as digital LED technology and Single Pass Color. This technology facilitates OKI Data to manufacture products that require fewer moving parts, thereby increased reliability.
The C710 Series of A4 digital color printers will be rolled out to the market in June 2008.
