3K Unveils Longitude 400 Mini Notebook Ultra Mobile PC

3K Computers (3K), a manufacturer of Built-to-Order (BTO) desktops, laptops, workstations, servers, and storage equipment has just revealed its newest laptop computer - the Longitude 400 Mini Notebook Ultra Mobile PC
This new product weighs less than 2 lbs and includes a 7-inch LCD TFT Display and a full-size keyboard. The company is launching this product for a MSRP of $399.
The Longitude 400 is perfect for mobile professionals, students, Internet browsing, online shopping, instant messaging, and playing music and movies while on the road. With an energy saving 400 MHz CPU, the Mini Notebook features 3 USB connection ports and 1 Ethernet 10/100 LAN port. It runs on a Windows-friendly Linux Operating System.

The Longitude 400 Mini Notebook supports mobile broadband Internet use, rich Web content and complete suite of Office tools. The open source Office Suite includes AbiWord - Opens Microsoft (News - Alert) Word Files, GNUMeric - Opens Microsoft Excel Files, an E-mail Client, and a PDF Reader. In addition to these, the notebook PC also features power packed consumer software included with applications such as games, schedulers, music players, movie players, planners and more. 
The notebook PC also features a GUI Based Full-Flash menu interface which is more user-friendly.
Dan Jacobs, CEO, 3K Computers said that their 3K Longitude 400 UMPC will be a market leader due to its aggressive $399 price point while delivering a high performance multimedia experience in a notebook under 2 pounds.
Jacobs said that the company is happy to succeed in this project and is looking forward to an exciting launch.
