TRITTON Technologies has unveiled its AX Micro Bluetooth headset, a product that enables the user to comfortably talk in a variety of environments. It features a diminutive physical footprint and a comfort fit attachment.
TRITTON’s new headset is priced at $59.99. It joins the company’s portfolio of other multimedia and networking products and peripherals.
The AX Micro is Bluetooth 1.2 and 2.0 compliant and uses adaptive frequency-hopping spread spectrum (AFH) to prevent signal interference when used in the same environment as other wireless devices. It also provides Extended Synchronous Connections (eSCO) for improved voice quality.
Being Bluetooth 1.2 and 2.0 compliant also offers other benefits such as lower power consumption and simplification of multi-link scenarios due to more available bandwidth.
The AX Micro features multi-colored LED indicators for Bluetooth connection, low battery and charging. The charging cradle plugs in via AC/DC adapter or USB. On a single charge, the headset provides about 5 hours of talk time and 150 minutes of standby time.
The comfort fit attachment comes in two sizes, and features flexible finger grips that rest on the inner rim of the ear.
TRITTON’s AX Micro will be available soon through the company’s network of online and retail partners.
