CDNetworks Launches New Gaming Titles from Leading Providers

CDNetworks (KOSDAQ: 073710), a top three global, full-service content delivery network (CDN), has announced a line-up of leading game titles from global on-line gaming companies that rely on CDNetworks for their U.S. expansion, according to a press release. The new games introduced on the network include free-to-play casual and large multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPG). These games can be played online by users in the U.S. and across the world.



 
“CDNetworks works with us like a 'partner,' offering ideas and solutions to help us meet our current and future needs, both technical and business, ensuring a successful long-term relationship," Ron Williams, general manager, CDC Games USA, was quoted as saying in the report.
 
CDNetworks is a provider of global network infrastructure and downloading, caching, and streaming technologies, which offer exceptional quality and speed of game downloading for exemplary end user experience.
 
"Games are being created and developed with more advanced features and complexity as developers push the technology. In turn, game client file sizes are continually increasing, which requires a higher amount of bandwidth," Whon Namkoong, CEO of NHN USA, was quoted as saying in the report. "CDNetworks provides quick access and reliability that we can depend on for our ijji.com users."
 
K2Networks, Codemasters, and Nexon are some of the leading titles supported by the network. CDNetworks is also launching:
 
  • Lunia from CDC Games, which is one of the market leaders of online and mobile games in China. The game is a MMORPG built on the magna style comic art form. It was voted by fans as one of the top five best new games on mmosite.com. Additionally, it was also nominated as the "Favorite F2P (free to play) Game." You can find this game at www.12footTall.com

  • DriftCity, Luminary: Rise of the GoonZu, and GunBound – popular titles from NHN USA's ijji.com, which is a division of NHN, the top search engine and online gaming portal in Korea, and a leading Internet gaming portal that offers a wide range of casual and serious multiplayer free games. You can find these games at: ijji.com.
 
  • Shot Online, Fishing Champ, Manga Fighter and Xiah – leading titles from OnNet, which is one of Korea's largest online game developers and publishers. OnNet is a community-based, free-to-play online video game portal. You can find these games at: gamescampus.com.
