Most everyone remembers the comic series Batman and the movies that Hollywood made on the same theme. When there's trouble in Gotham City, Police Commissioner Gordon calls caped crusader Batman, the secret alter ego of millionaire Bruce Wayne. You may also remember the flashing red Batphone, which is almost always answered by batman’s assistant, Alfred the butler. Then, batman and his friend Dick Grayson put on their superhero costumes and change to become Batman and Robin and save the victims from the evil forces.
To make a long story short, AbleComm, Inc., has introduced a mobile phone that flashes a red light when there is an emergency call. Now, even you can have a bright red flashing Batphone just like a superhero. And you can go a step ahead of Batman by making your phone flash the red light even when an ordinary call comes in!
Many of the red phones come with a 7 year warranty period and the applications include fire, medical, police, swimming pools, military, security, elevators, factories, offices, restaurants, nursing homes, hotels, kiosks, apartment houses, clubs, call centers, campsites, stores, train stations, bus
terminals, stadiums, athletic fields, homes, schools, theaters, airports, shopping malls. The emergency hot line phones are used at pools, schools, parks, hospitals, and the Empire State Building. The company has provided phone equipment for the White House, Congress, embassies, fire departments, police departments, military bases, an oil field, a steel mill, a submarine, major corporations, small businesses, schools, and colleges.
According to a press release, the light always flashes when the phone rings. If you think that feature is too disturbing, but you like the phone, you can disconnect the bell and use it like any other phone.
