Jaman.com, an Internet movie service, and TiVo (News - Alert), a provider of television services for digital video recorders (DVRs) have entered into a partnership where TiVo subscribers can access thousands of American independent and international film titles directly from their TV screen

via their TiVo DVR.

 

The partnership between TiVo and Jaman enhances TiVo's popular Amazon Unbox offering, which currently boasts thousands of movies and TV shows. It also expands the number of independent and international titles available to TiVo subscribers.

 

Users will now have the ability to discover and enjoy films from around the world with the convenience and familiarity of TiVo's intuitive interface combined with high-definition content from Jaman.

 

The broadband-connected TiVo Series2 and Series3 subscribers will be able to experience this service in the coming months.

 

This partnership with TiVo extends Jaman's broad cross-platform leadership with support for set-top boxes, PCs, Macs, SanDisk's (News - Alert) TakeTV and DivX. TiVo is placing a lot of emphasis on its customers to provide unique broadband services to them. It offers thousands of movie and TV shows from Amazon Unbox and millions of songs from Rhapsody.
