Extremetix Selects Tendenci to Power New Ticketing Solutions Web Site

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Extremetix, Inc, operator of the ClicknPrint Tickets service, has selected Tendenci Web marketing software to power its new Web site. The new site was designed by Shipul and features a modern, clean look, while offering managers of events and venues a variety of ticketing solutions for virtually any type of activity.

Tendenci enabled the site to become a source of up-to-date information about ticketing trends and solutions that customers and prospects return to again and again.

"Our customers operate in an environment that is constantly changing, so it was essential to make sure our Web site is just as dynamic and versatile as our products and services are," said Mel Rainer, VP of Marketing with Extremetix, in a Thursday statement.

Rainer added: "Tendenci's easy do-it-yourself capabilities give us the ability to make updates to the Web site without having to hire an in-house Web developer."

The ticketing market must always be flexible and ready to change in order to stay ahead of those out to manipulate the system. The number of phony tickets in circulation continues to increase each year, requiring that event organizers continuously update their strategies and technologies to catch the counterfeits.

The Internet serves as a key strategy element in which up-to-date information can be delivered to customers and prospects seeking an efficient, easy-to-implement ticketing solution.

Extremetix is relying on Tendenci to provide a Content Management System that eliminates the hassle often associated with making site updates. With the site’s intuitive user interface, it is possible to post new content, such as descriptions of new ticketing services, new releases and articles, with just a few mouse clicks.

Tendenci also offers automated search engine optimization capabilities, making the ClicknPrint Tickets website easier to find by Google (News - Alert) and other major search engines.

The new Web site also integrates Really Simply Syndication to enable users to subscribe to receive alerts when updates are posted. A search tool enables users to search within the content of the site to find specific interests.

Tendenci is developed and marketed by Schipul - The Web Marketing Company, a provider of Web marketing solutions for organizations around the world.

The world of electronic tickets is growing and while the innovation now available provides enhanced capabilities to both consumers and promoters, it also creates certain vulnerabilities where counterfeiters are concerned. It is because of this risk that innovative solutions must be in place that can enable organizations to stay at least one step ahead of these individuals to protect the organization and the customer.

Mark your calendars! Internet Telephony (News - Alert) Conference & EXPO—the first major IP communications event of the year—is just days away. It’s not too late to register for the event, which takes place in Miami Beach, FL, January 23–25, 2008. The EXPO will feature three valuable days of exhibits, conferences and networking that you won’t want to miss. So what are you waiting for? Sign up now!
