Able Planet ( News - Alert), a company founded on the principle of hearing preservation, enhancement, and superior sound performance, is showcasing its Clear Voice VoIP Headset at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. The Clear Voice VoIP headset combines patent-pending Linx Audio and state-of-the-art active noise canceling technology.
Linx Audio is manufactured with commercially available magnetostrictive components and copper magnet wire, and is embedded in line with a high performance Linx Speaker, which enables the headset to deliver enhanced sound quality and clarity made possible by creating harmonics that are not masked by low frequency sounds, filtering undesirable frequencies or noise, and soft clipping distortion.
In addition, the enhanced audio signal delivered by the Clear Voice VoIP headset increases the perception of loudness without increasing the volume, enabling listeners to achieve full, rich sound at lower volumes, helping people to “Turn It Down” to preserve hearing.
“We are excited to showcase the outstanding qualities of the Clear Voice VoIP headset,” said Kevin Semcken, president and CEO of Able Planet. “Sharing the news about this product with the international consumer electronics community is certainly one of the highlights of the show for Able Planet.”
The privately held company headquartered in Wheat Ridge, Colorado designs and manufacturers innovative audio and communication devices for individuals with all levels of hearing. Its products include headphones, headsets, hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and all feature Able Planet’s patent-pending Linx Audio technology.
