Nokia ( News - Alert) recently introduced their Nokia N95 8 GB device in Nigeria. The device comes with eight gigabytes (GB) of built-in memory, and also features a five megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in A-GPS, WLAN , HSDPA and a two-way slide.
“Our Nokia Nseries family has expanded with added excitement on a new level with the Nokia N95 8GB, a device as personal as it is powerful,” Fady Khatib, country manager for Nigeria at Nokia, commented in a press release.
Khatib added, “…but now with the addition of one of the largest ever displays, built-in Assisted-GPS and improved battery power, the Nokia N95 8GB takes entertainment enjoyment to a whole new level.”
N95 8GB features 2.8”, 240 x 320, QVGA display, and Khatib pointed out, with its expanded memory, the N95 8GB offers up to 20 hours of video or up to 6,000 songs.
In addition, Nokia N95 8GB also supports services like Nokia Music Store and N-Gage Games, and a user can access millions of music tracks from the Nokia Music Store.
Nokia N95 8GB is also equipped with A-GPS, and according to Khatib, “enthusiasts can whiz to their locations on Nokia Maps faster and enjoy maps for over 150 countries.
In addition, users can explore the world, find specific routes or locate services such as restaurants and hotels, covering more than 15 million points of interest, purchase additional features, such as city guides and voice guided navigation.
“Our Nokia Nseries family has expanded with added pizzazz and performance with the Nokia N95 8GB, a device as personal as it is powerful,” commented Jonas Geust, vice president of Multimedia at Nokia.
Nokia began shipping Nokia N95 8GB this past October.
