Verizon Wireless Launches Fashionable Phone Cases and Pouches

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, the company that operates the nation’s most reliable wireless voice and data network, has announced the launch of fashionable new cases and pouches in collaboration with accessories and apparel company, Paul Frank Industries, according to a wire report. Fashion conscious users can now flaunt their stylish PDA and mobile phone cases and pouches.

The accessories theme is based on Paul Frank’s classic characters and fanciful designs, including Julius the monkey, Skurvy, the skull and crossbones, and the retro helicopter pattern. The line-up is specially created for the ‘a la mode’ and will complement users’ fashion lifestyle.

Verizon Wireless serves around 63.7 million customers across the U.S. The company is also the largest U.S. wireless company as well as the largest wireless data provider based on revenues. Headquartered at Basking Ridge, N.J., Verizon Wireless employs more than 68,000 people across U.S. The company is a joint venture of Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) and Vodafone (News - Alert) (NYSE and LSE: VOD). For more information about its services, you can visit the website www.verizonwireless.com.

The PDA case developed by the companies comes in a size that fits any Verizon Wireless PDA. In addition to this, the case has the Skurvy pattern screen-printed. The PDA case is available with a faux suede interior, belt clip and a removable wrist strap that enables easy mobility. The PDA case will also fit Verizon Wireless’ latest feature rich, multimedia phone – the LG Voyager.

Like the PDA case, the mobile phone case also fits most Verizon Wireless phones, including the new LG Venus. The case comes with a screen-printed Julius pattern. Like the PDA case, this will also feature a faux suede interior. Additionally, it comes with a carabineer clip and removable wrist strap.

The pouch features both the Julius and helicopter patterns. It is available in printed neoprene and incorporates a dual-snap closure with the help of which users can secure the strap to a purse or briefcase. The pouch also fits most clamshell-style phones.
