Hop-on Will Deliver One World Phone to AT&T and Verizon

With AT&T and Verizon (News - Alert) announcing that they will allow/open their phone and mobile device manufacturers to connect to their networks, Hop-on is all set to deliver a GSM/CDMA dual mode device to the carriers.



 
The CDMA and GSM modes of the new 2000 handset are designed to be able to stand by simultaneously, which can enable users to choose either mode at any time to make a phone call or send a short message.
 
The Verizon and AT&T announcements came just three weeks after Google unveiled its plans to release its own open mobile platforms with Android (News - Alert) Linux-based device operating system and its Open Handset Alliance, a conglomeration of over 30 companies that hope to develop lower cost, open mobile devices.
 
The new strategies of Verizon, AT&T and Google (News - Alert) signals a shift in open-thinking that other communication companies are bound to follow, which will prove to be beneficial for consumers and Hop-on alike.
 
Hop-on, Inc. a leading developer and marketer of wireless phones and patented accessories and one of the foremost creators of mobile gambling technology, also sees this as huge business opportunity
 
Hop-on’s new 2000 series design meets the needs of both business users and consumers who want entertainment features.

Currently, HOP-ON is expanding into value-added services, like mobile gambling and SMS wagering. HOP-ON’s exclusive software will allow users to stream live interactive feed from legal jurisdictions to play poker, blackjack, roulette and baccarat on personal cell phones.
