By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributing Editor

E.E.S. Companies, Inc., a developer of integrated business operations software, has launched a new service that enables the customers of POS/OE 4 version 8 to run their business operations with the help of the Apple (News - Alert) iPhone, according to a press release.

Since its establishment, the company has developed several state-of-the-art technologies and advanced products for Macintosh and Windows. The flagship product of the company - POS/OE 4 Mac – is being utilized by small to medium-sized companies, organizations, and colleges/universities.

The POS/OE solution can offer support to a single user as well as more than 100 users, both in a single location as well as multiple locations. The software incorporates functionalities for ERP, CRM, Retail/POS, Mail Order, Credit Card Processing, Inventory Control, Accounting, eCommerce, and many more.

"For over 18 years, we have addressed--and we will continue to address--the needs of the Apple Mac and Windows marketplace with our robust business operations system. Now we are empowering users of the iPhone (News - Alert) platform, and we will continue to develop innovative solutions to help your business grow. Our customers are very excited about the new iPhone integration, especially business owners who frequently travel and have multiple location stores," Henry Szretter, CEO of E.E.S. Companies, Inc, was quoted as saying in the report.

With the help of the software, remote users will be able to communicate with their POS/OE 4 system in real time as well as view CRM data through their iPhone. For instance, users of the iPhone will be able to create or access customers/contacts as well as create or modify data for the purpose of sales or service tracking. In addition to this, the service will enable employees to offer quotes to customers related to the inventory price and availability on the back nine. Employees will also be able to enter their sales order while viewing their warehouse and identifying their needs virtually from any part of the globe.

The service will also help business owners and managers to maintain business continuity even on the move. They will be able view financial data, including daily sales and activity, user log-in information, and telephony data even when they are away from office. Moreover, customers can select a functionality based on their business priorities.
