AT&T and Samsung Offer Exclusive Slim Sliding Phone

AT&T (News - Alert) Inc. together with Samsung Telecommunications America have proclaimed in a press release the accessibility of the Samsung SGH-a737, an ultra thin sliding phone with enhanced multimedia and entertainment characteristics.




The 737 is a major improvement on the extraordinary charm of the Samsung (News - Alert) SGH-a717 and a727. It offers AT&T clients the similar grand 3G experience in a novel form factor.

The a737 is an extremely light device and is obtainable in four color arrangements namely, black/orange, black/blue, black/red and black/lime. Since the a737 provides the necessary back up to AT&T’s Video Share service, users are in a position to share one-way live video while taking part in a voice call. However, both the users must be in a zone that is covered by the company’s 3G network and possess a Video Share-enabled phone for example the a737. Users can as well dispatch messages to acquaintances and relations in any manner they select by means of Mobile Email, Text Messaging, AOL (News - Alert), Windows Live Instant Messaging as well as Yahoo.

AT&T Mobile Music enables users to utilize Napster and eMusic for loading music on the handset. The a737 is supportive of over-the-air music downloads with the help of  eMusic Mobile, and additional operations such as The Buzz music news portal, Music ID, music video viewing, and XM Radio.
