To make it possible for Internet users to take their Internet usage with them while they're on the go, Nokia ( News - Alert) introduced today a new pocket-sized device offering a portable Internet experience.
The new offering, the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet makes it possible for users to connect to the nearest Wi-Fi hotspot and make internet calls, check email, watch videos, blog or log into their social networking communities no matter where they are.
The Nokia N810, which is powered by maemo Linux based OS2008, includes an integrated GPS receiver with built in maps and satellite navigation, which can also be upgraded to Wayfinder's ( News - Alert) voice-guided navigation, as well as touch screen capabilities and a slide-out keyboard.
Also, for times when no WiFi connection is available, the device offers up to 45 hours of music playback and memory.

The new Internet tablet is expected to start shipping mid-November with an estimated retail price of $479 USD.
