If threes one thing youth seems to like when it comes to their cell phones, its customization. Beyond just being able to use features to download music or take pictures, having a unique phone with new features, is important in the youth cell phone market. In order to meet this need, Boost Mobile has teamed up with REVOK, a graffiti artist.
As per their recently announced strategic content partnership agreement, set up to help make youth both aware of art, and able to reasonably purchase it, custom designed wallpaper will be available for purchase. Also announced today, Boost and REVOK have plans to work together to design limited edition mobile accessory collections.
"Using the mobile phone as a canvas allows me to display my work in an easily accessible medium while at the same time giving Boost customers a new way to personalize their phones," commented REVOK in a statement.
REVOK is a well-known graffiti artist whose work is admired for its beauty and placement is very hard to reach places.
Just last week, Boost made news when they announced a new music phone, just in time for the Christmas season. The Motorola ( News - Alert) i885 handset, perfect for youth users, includes an MP3 player with internal and external stereo speakers and a removable microSD memory card.
Boost also announced recently the latest edition to Boost's portfolio of phones. The Motorola i835 handsets in purple and white, aimed at the fashion-conscious female market.
