WhiteFence, an online, one-stop comparison-shopping marketplace for home service buyers, has launched GreenEnergyChoice.com, a Web site that aims to provide Texans information about environmentally-conscious energy products.
GreenEnergyChoice.com features prices for and details about different natural power providers, which use solar, biomass, wind, and geothermal technologies to produce energy. The idea is to help consumers find the best deals while working to save the environment. WhiteFence plans to soon expand the site to include listings in other US states including New Jersey and Georgia.
Among the natural power providers listed are:
Green Mountain Energy Company—Claims to be the leading company in promoting zero-tolerance to carbon dioxide emission by offering its customers 100 percent pollution-free products. Green Mountain's Pollution Free(SM) electricity comes from water and wind power.
Commerce Energy – The provider of 'Clear Choice 50% Wind' and 'Clear Choice 100% Wind.' This company is offering its customers a 12-month, fixed rate.
First Choice Power - First Choice Power’s ‘Simply Better Earth Saver Plan’ offers 100 percent renewable electricity. Like Commerce Energy, First Choice Power also offers its customers a low monthly fee and quality customer service.
“Consumers know that they can help to protect our environment through their purchasing decisions, and they are demanding environmentally-friendly choices for a wide range of products and services,” said Eric Danziger, CEO at WhiteFence, in a statement.
Danziger continued: “As interest in environmentally-conscious energy sources increases, WhiteFence wants to provide a single place for consumers to easily find and compare all their clean energy options. GreenEnergyChoice.com is that place.”
