"Intel looks forward to a bright future with Android on Intel Atom processors," said Doug Fisher, Vice President of the Software and Services Group and General Manager of the Systems Software Division at Intel. "With several of our customers launching Android devices in 2012, Intel sees this as the year we will make significant progress with Android for phones and tablets. Working with companies like Opera Software allows us to deliver the Intel-based platforms, along with the high-quality Android applications, that users demand." Opera Mobile is an increasingly popular browser on the Android operating system, with super-smooth browsing, data savings when using the Opera Turbo mode, WebGL and industry-leading HTML5 support.

"We've worked hard to make an optimized version of Opera Mobile available for Intel-based Android devices. The Intel guys and Opera engineers from our Polish office, who made it happen, deserve a big round of applause," said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software.
