ANADIGICS, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor solutions for the broadband wireless and wireline communications industries, has announced that its ANADIGICS AWT6307 HELP 3G
CDMA EVDO power amplifier (PA) module will be used in Samsung’s (
News -
Alert) SPH-m610, the thinnest ever clamshell wireless handset. ANADIGICS has already begun shipping production volumes of the PA.
The AWT6307 is powered by ANADIGICS' proprietary InGaP-Plus technology, which ensures reliability, temperature stability, and robustness by combining HBT and pHEMT devices on the same die.
The selectable bias modes of the PA ensure optimum efficiency at various output power levels, significantly enhancing handset talk-time and standby-time.
