Reflecting its impressive growth in year 2008,
Azimuth Systems recently announced several major milestones for the company.
At a time when the recession had just set in, Azimuth recorded a growth of more than 30% in its channel emulator revenue year-over-year. The addition of many international customers helped the company increase its customer base by more than 25%. Apart from having new customers, the company also formed partnerships with new companies.
Last year, the company also released three ACE (Azimuth Channel Emulator) products ideal for Wi-Fi, 2x2 MIMO WiMAX (

Azimuth states that in 2008, Belkin selected the ACE channel emulator and ADEPT-n MIMO test platform to automate the testing of its N and N1 wireless networking product lines. The company also opened new offices in countries such as India, China and Hong Kong to support distribution in India, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China.
The company also partnered with companies such as Agilent (

In November last year, the company
joined the International Wireless Industry Consortium (
IWPC). The IWPC is an international community of wireless and RF product OEMS and suppliers, formed to facilitate communication across the entire supply chain in order to improve the performance of wireless and RF products. Apart from IWPC, Azimuth also worked with industry standards groups like the Wi-Fi Alliance, WiMAX Forum (
