WPCS International (News - Alert) Incorporated, through its subsidiaries, has been awarded approximately $19 million in new contracts.

The projects to be completed include Trane, Crown Castle, Avaya, Siemens, Honeywell, Clearwire, Simplex Grinnell, Qwest (News - Alert) Communications, The University of Connecticut, Smith College, Duquesne Light, National Grid and Sutter Medical Center.

Jim Heinz, Executive Vice President of WPCS, in a press release commented, "The bid activity for our services has been active and we have been able to add many new projects to our backlog. We continue to see a high level of repeat business which is a positive indication that our customers believe in our ability to provide quality service and support."

In January WPCS International was also awarded approximately $9 million in new contracts.

WPCS is a design-build engineering company that focuses on the implementation requirements of wireless technology.

The company serves the specialty communication systems and wireless infrastructure sectors and provides services that include site design, technology integration, electrical contracting, construction and project management for corporations, government entities and educational institutions worldwide
