Alert) Wireless customer. The company is introducing MCARDS! on Mobile Web 2.0 which is created by Sharpcards Ltd.
Verizon customers have the option to choose a number of MCARDS! From wishing good luck for the newly married couple, to wishing a friend Happy Birthday, users can choose from a number of MCARDS! right from their Mobile Web 2.0-capable phones.
MCARDS! will be delivered as picture messages to Verizon Wireless phones and it will cost 99 cents per download. Customers can re- send the card unlimited times at no additional charge once a MCARDS! has been downloaded. A number of categories such as Cute Animals, Love Hearts, Flirty, Romantic, Miss You, I'm Feeling...., Disses, For Laughs, Happy Birthday, Sorry, Thanks and Congrats, Good Luck and Get Well are available with MCARDS!
For a $5.00 monthly access fee, Mobile Web 2.0 comes with additional airtime and if users sign up for a $15 V CAST VPak monthly subscription, will get Mobile Web 2.0, plus unlimited airtime for Verizon Wireless' V CAST service, ESPN MVP, Get It Now and Mobile Web 2.0 services.
As more and more handset manufacturers equip their phones with web 2.0 capabilities and as the customers demand more from their mobile phones, features like this provided by Verizon Wireless are gaining even more significance and meaning.
