The global eReading service provider Kobo, Inc., which believes consumers should be able to read any book on any device, introduced new Kobo Wireless eReader with unlimited access to Bell's WiFi (News - Alert) network.

Through a press release, Kobo announced Canadian Kobo Wireless eReader customers now have even more opportunities to experience the joy of reading as Kobo will be offering free, unlimited access to Bell's WiFi network at any one of Bell's over 800 WiFi network hotspot locations across Canada. The interested Kobo users are invited to collect information about the locations at bell.ca/wifi.

Kobo officials explained that Canadian Kobo Wireless eReaders are pre-configured and ready to go on the Bell WiFi network, the largest WiFi network in Canada. Once at a Bell WiFi network hotspot location, customers simply visit the Kobo Store area on their Kobo Wireless eReader and they will be seamlessly connected and able to browse, download and buy eBooks, magazines and newspapers from the Kobo store, and start reading instantly.

Kobo boasts of a catalogue of more than 2.2 million eBooks, newspapers and magazines. With an open platform, Kobo enables retailers, device manufacturers and mobile operators to bring the joy of eReading to customers everywhere.

“At Kobo we're passionate about delivering customers the best possible reading experience. We're thrilled to partner with Bell to enhance the reading experience for Canadian Kobo Wireless eReader users providing free, unlimited access to Canada's largest Wi-Fi network. Our customers love reading and now they can easily shop our collection of over 2.2 million books, including over one million engaging free classics, from their favorite Bell hotspot locations,” said Michael Serbinis, CEO of Kobo, in a statement.

Bell Mobility clients with select mobile devices such as the recently launched Samsung (News - Alert) Galaxy Tab can also enjoy the Kobo reading experience directly from their devices, as they come pre-loaded with the Kobo eReading App.

The company officials informed that Kobo app is also available for download at Bell's Tunes and App store for Android (News - Alert) users and will be available soon in French.

Few days back Kobo made an important announcement for the holiday shoppers that it will be offering new value-priced Kobo eReader bundles just in time for the holiday season. Under the offer, starting from 24th November, customers can purchase a new Kobo Wireless eReader pre-loaded with any one of five exclusive eBook bundles at www.koboereader.com. Customers can save up to $30 and give the perfect gift for readers, an eReader already loaded with a bundle of hot new books, ready to start reading right out of the box.
