Lisa Pierce is founder and President of Strategic Networks Group, a consultancy dedicated to improving the quality of emerging telecommunications and IT services, and the service experience, that business customers receive from key suppliers.
From a network technology perspective, Lisa focuses on SIP Trunking, Unified Communications (particularly collaboration and FMC), broadband access, 3G and 4G wireless services, managed network services, switched Ethernet (VPLS) and MPLS services. Lisa was the Vice President of Telecommunications Services Research at Forrester Research/Giga Information Group for over ten years. Prior experience includes emerging telecommunications protocol consulting and training for a boutique consultancy. And while at AT&T, her work focused on new business services -- product development, product management, new services market research, statistical modeling and forecasting.
A member of the IEEE, she is a frequent industry speaker and media commentator, and periodically contributes to the work of the Metro Ethernet Forum, DM Radio and VoiceCon/NoJitter. She is also a regular contributor to UC Strategies. Lisa holds an MBA in marketing and statistical modeling from Willamette University, and a B.A. with Honors from Gordon College.

Steve Carter is Senior Manager of XO’s Enterprise SIP product and is based out of Herndon, VA. Steve led the launch of XO’s Business Services IP Trunking Products and developed new and innovative VoIP capabilities for enterprises. His efforts have helped XO win 2007 and 2009 Internet Telephony Product-of-the-Year Awards for both XO’s SIP and Enterprise SIP. Prior to joining XO, Steve led Product Development of VoIP services at Primus Communications, targeted specifically for enterprise and carrier markets. Steve’s expertise includes over 20 years of Product Development and Management in Wireless, Data, Telecom, and I/P services.

As a founding member of the BroadSoft team, Alex Doyle has been intricately involved in the development of the BroadWorks application platform and has been responsible for product and solution management of BroadSoft's business and consumer applications. Currently Alex is responsible for developing our new go-to-market program that will help service providers increase their sales of BroadWorks-based business solutions. Prior to BroadSoft, Doyle was a Wireless Solutions Architect at Nortel and Celcore. He holds a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a MS from Johns Hopkins University.
Erin brings more than 11 years of publishing, journalism and online media experience to her role as senior editor at TMC, where she covers IP communications, information technology and other related topics. Previously, Erin served as the founding editor-in-chief of Executive Decision magazine, a business-to-business magazine that reached approximately 150,000 C-level executives from the Fortune 1000 and beyond. Prior to her tenure at Executive Decision, Erin was an editor at Scholastic Library Publishing and was the executive editor of Real Estate magazine, a national monthly magazine specializing in the residential real estate and relocation industries.
