Webinar - Software-Based Scaling for Real-Time Apps

Innovation is a beautiful thing, but as development continues to push the boundaries of what communications developers can do, questions and concerns can arise. Can my infrastructure support this application? How easily can this application be scaled? And most importantly, can the application perform as intended?

In addition to the growing list of questions a firm may have, SIP and other stateful communications protocols cannot be managed by the same web-centric Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) developed and to distribute HTTP traffic. Virtualization in communications solutions has opened doors but created some hurdles as well, such as unique requirements not addressed by application-based, load-balancing solutions.

As a result, new software-based load-balancing solutions are developed today to support the level of performance necessary to provide high-quality, multimedia interactions. An upcoming TMC (News - Alert) webinar, “Scaling Real-Time Communications Applications with Load Balancers” is set to discuss the complexities involved in the scalability and reliability for real-time communications and more.

The discussion will be moderated by TMC Group Editorial Director Erik Linask (News - Alert), and joining him is Dialogic Senior Director of Product Marketing Alan Percy and Dialogic Product Line Manager James Rafferty. Their years of industry expertise and hands-on experience with the bleeding edge offer those responsible for communications application development in the enterprise, over-the-top providers as well as service providers a view of how to meet the evolving demands of this fluid industry.

Attendees will be privy to an in-depth look at the challenges attributed to scaling real-time communications with traditional ADCs, illustrate how load balancing improves the reliability of applications and a look at a load balancer designed and developed for real-time communications: Dialogic PowerVille LB.

Recently, the communications developer community asked if you have an LB in your starting lineup. The choice is yours, real-time or two steps behind.

The webinar will take place on May 26 at 2:00 p.m.; register HERE.
