Recently, TMCnet reported that MobileIron had joined hands with HTC (News - Alert) Corporation, a company that specializes in mobile innovation and design, to develop a solution that global customers can utilize to drive mobility.

Bob Tinker, CEO, MobileIron commented in regards to the new project stating, "Android (News - Alert) has faced barriers to entry in the enterprise because customers need to know that they can manage and secure Android apps and devices without needing additional resources. By working with HTC, we are making it easy for our global customers to welcome a whole category of Android devices into their companies."

The mobile device management provider was also in the news earlier this month as it was tapped for the 2012 SC Award Europe for Best Mobile Device Management. The company was selected for this prestigious award due to its robust security capabilities, as well as its highly satisfactory overall user experience.
