How Do You Deliver the 'Optimal Mobile Backhaul' Experience? Aricent has the Answer in Wednesday's Webinar

Today’s mobile network operators are finding themselves amid a complete transformation, in which an exponential increase in network data traffic is often challenged by both legacy and contemporary network technologies having to be supported. With this strong push to harmonize equipment across multiple network domains on a singular technology platform, as well as a high demand for network bandwidth by current smartphone users, telecom operators are increasingly turning to IP-based mobile backhaul networks.

In order to promise a superior customer experience, network architects and equipment manufacturers must carefully select the most fitting packet-based technology and physical media for a variety of network segments. But today’s networks deploy multiple technologies – be it Ethernet, Microwave, traditional E1/T1, SDH/SONET and DSL – which, in turn, makes migrating to a high-performance packet backhaul architecture a difficult task. Even more, new challenges exist when it comes to delivering TDM-like performance on end-to-end IP-based backhaul networks.

The experts from Aricent (News - Alert), a provider of global innovation and technology services, will present a free webinar, entitled “Delivering the ‘Optimal Mobile Backhaul’ Experience,” that will highlight operator requirements and hone in on the various technology methods available for moving to a packet-based network. Set to take place this Wednesday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT, this webinar will discuss what packet-based backhaul technology solutions are available for delivering high-performance mobile broadband solutions; how technologies like packet microwave and MPLS-TP can solve today’s metro and core network challenges; how to select the best technique for addressing IP-backhaul requirements; and how to deliver TDM-like performance on an IP-backhaul network.

Product line managers, product marketing managers, technology consultants, software and hardware engineers, and network architects are invited to attend this webinar, which will be presented by two of Aricent’s top leaders: Rajesh Kumar Sundararajan, assistant vice president for Data Communications (News - Alert) products, and Rajkumar Paulraj, technology director for Data Communications products.
