Presenting this webinar will be Tim Crofton, vice president of business development and product management at Datacom Sysems, who is responsible for strategic alliances, OEM relationships and partnerships, as well as the management of the product roadmap, market research and technical area services.
Before joining Datacom Systems (News - Alert) in 2005, Crofton – a 20-year veteran in the information technology field – held positions in security consulting and service practice development, managed a technical assistance center, and designed numerous IT technologies. With previous experience at NEC (News
- Alert), the U.S. Department of Defense and Babcock & Wilcox, Crofton has focused on a variety of markets, including manufacturing, IT, utility, military, healthcare and education.
Crofton possesses a master’s degree from the State University of New York, where he studied computer science, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Clarkson University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College.
