Webinar - IceWarp Webinar Promotes UC Strategies for Growing Businesses

As promised, IceWarp’s webinar, “Advantages of a Standards Based Unified Communications (News - Alert) Strategy,” informed attendees on why a standards-based approach to their unified communications deployment provides them with more flexibility and opportunity to enhance their systems as they grow.

John O Cooper 5th presented the webinar to nearly 200 attendees and discussed the cost benefits a standards based UC solution will deliver, as well as why they won’t trade any compliance, security, or governance aspects when choosing a standards based solution.

Ice Warp initially launched an email server that was used by Internet service providers as its first service. Today, the company has evolved into offering a comprehensive unified messaging and collaboration solution including email, IM, VoIP, SMS, multi-media conferencing, data sharing and management, event and meeting management and a complete virtual office, to name a few.

According to Cooper, a UC solution saves the average employee 27 minutes per day. A unified communication suite provides the convenient convergence of all your business communication processes and workflows, into one fully integrated and easy to use system.

So why does a UC solution make sense for your business? Cooper noted that a UC suite like IceWarp’s (News - Alert) not only improves employee productivity but also provides businesses with additional organizational agility since they have the flexibility to work when and how they desire. A UC solution also improves mobility, allowing workers to remote in using a virtual office, as well as reducing ownership and administrative costs while still streamlining the management.

Still not convinced? Cooper also informed attendees of how business trends in the market today are actually driving UC adoption. Consumer driven and user centric platforms create more IT savvy workforces, especially since there are expectations of always being “plugged in.” The evolution of the mobile worker is also in part due to UC solutions. With new and better technologies at hand, devices like smartphones and tablets are changing work environments by enhancing the way employees work when out of the office.
