Video is increasingly used in the enterprise, as you’re no doubt aware. Done correctly it increases the time your customers spend on your website, and can encourage employee involvement. Video is seen as a tool that enterprises invest in to increase revenue.

Businesses are also using video to cut their organization’s long-run costs, and the Webinar addresses the issue of which enterprises have already implemented strategic video plans, and how efficient are these efforts.

During the presentation Michal Tsur noted that video can be used in the enterprise for such things as “remote training, enterprise learning, corporate messaging, product marketing and customer engagement.” Tsur is president and co-founder of Kaltura, and an experienced entrepreneur with many years of knowledge of technology startup work. He co-founded Cyota and was part of its management team from its inception up until its acquisition by RSA (News - Alert) Security.

The Webinar presented experts from Kaltura and Coldwell Banker to discuss the options to use video as a tool to increase savings and efficiency, both externally with your customers, and internally among your employees.

Presenters included David Birnbaum, VP of Learning Coldwell Banker, who directs all of Coldwell Banker University’s global learning strategy and initiatives. The university’s mission is to increase sales production and office operational efficiency through skill-based, measured training. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker in 2006, David directed the department at AT&T (News - Alert) that developed all their corporate training web portals and eLearning courses.

Leah Belsky also presented during the Webinar. She’s the VP of Strategic Development at Kaltura, an experienced entrepreneur, executive and Internet strategist. Prior to Kaltura she worked at the World Bank and in China as the VP of Strategy and Product Develpoment at Noank Media, a spin-off of the Berkman Center at Harvard.
