Webinar - Webinar Discusses if Moving to Cloud Communications is the Right Move

Cloud computing, as you might have noticed, has huge market momentum right now. It’s why you’re reading this, for starters.

Cloud-based business communications looks to be following the same popular path, according to an upcoming free Webinar, “Cloud Communications: Is It The Right Move For Your Business?” It will be presented May 3 at 11:00 in the morning, East Coast time. The benefits of cloud-based business communications are well-proven, webinar officials say, pointing to reduced IT staff, increased flexibility, no/low upfront capital costs, and the ability to quickly expand and contract the number of licensed users.

All well and good, but it’s not a one size fits all technology. Does moving your business communications to the cloud make sense -- for you, not for Company X? In this webcast DMG President Donna Fluss will give participants the information they need to make the most educated decision.

Again, nobody’s saying you need to move all your business communications to the cloud pronto. There are some company situations where that wouldn’t be a good move. The webinar will be a good way for you to determine what questions you should be asking to see if you would benefit from the move or not.

Erwin Thomas, Senior Director of the Customer Care Solutions Center at Philips (News - Alert) Healthcare, will discuss the process Philips went through when deciding to migrate its contact centers to the cloud, including the benefits the company has realized as a result. The discussion might spark some ideas for you of how your company could benefit as well.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation, at which time Fluss and Thomas will be joined by Richard Snow, Ventana Research vice president and research director and Joe Staples (News - Alert), Interactive Intelligence chief marketing officer.
