Lance Donny is the Founder and CEO of OnFarm, which is solving one of the most important problems in agriculture today by integrating machine and field data to provide actionable information that enables better decisions, increased yields, and optimization of resources. OnFarm has won numerous awards for its innovative solution including, Ag Innovator of the Year, Best M2M Technology in Agriculture, and IBM’s North American Entrepreneur of the Year. Lance is a 20 year executive of early stage, venture backed and public companies and is known for crafting strategy and vision that drives new innovation and trends in agriculture. Lance grew up on his family’s vineyard and resides with his family in Fresno CA.


Scott McCarley,
Senior Director of Solution Management, ThingWorx, a PTC Business

Scott McCarley is Senior Director of Solution Management at ThingWorx, a PTC Business, where he is focused on enabling customers to leverage the Internet of Things to deliver new value and transform the way they create, operate and service products. He has responsibility for the leadership of market analysis, solution definition, and go-to-market activities for ThingWorx Smart, Connected Product offerings. For the past 5 years, Scott has worked with leading manufacturers to help elevate their product development, service and supply chain management capabilities. Scott has over 15 years of management experience with enterprise software companies in roles ranging from software development to marketing. Scott holds a M.B.A in Marketing and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. in Biology from Colby College.


John Schaefer,
Senior Vice President of Product Development

John is the Senior Vice President of Product Development for ThingWorx, a PTC Business. Prior to joining ThingWorx, John was a Vice President of Solution Management for manufacturing products at SAP. Before moving to solution and product management, John was the manager for the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and PLM development teams for SAP Labs North America.

John was also the Vice President of Product Development for Lighthammer Software Development, where he was responsible for the development and consulting teams. John has been involved in the conceptualization and development of Internet-based products since the mid-1990s, primarily related to manufacturing industries. Prior to working in product management and product development, John was a consultant and implementation specialist, working with many fortune 500 companies on process automation, MES and supply chain solutions in a variety of industries.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a MBA from Villanova University.
