The Bona Fide Value in Managed Services
Thursday, December 1, 2011 2:00 PM ET/ 11:00 AM PT

The adoption of Managed Services is growing exponentially within IT organizations, and is an increasingly preferred alternative to internal management of network, telephony, mobility, and security services. With budgets shrinking universally, many IT departments simply cannot keep up with the maintenance, threats, and risks facing their organizations today and are seeking new, innovative and less costly ways to keep up with technology, grow their business, and expand the effectiveness of IT regardless of where those resources reside. With limited resources or expertise, engaging a trusted partner to offload routine management is a logical step. Businesses that successfully outsource these functions to a service provider understand that it is not about replacing staff, but rather about empowering IT to be more strategic, flexible, and to deploy new applications quickly and easily.

This webinar will discuss the business drivers for when managed and hosted services are beneficial to your business, how managed services can ease the adoption of new technology and reduce costs, and factors to consider when selecting a provider.

Attendees will learn:
  • The definition of Managed vs. Hosted services
  • Current service trends and characteristics
  • Outsourcing mix for successful IT managers
  • Key considerations for evaluating a service provider
  • Best practices for ensuring performance transparency and visibility

Who should attend:
  • CIOs, CTOs
  • IT Managers and staff
  • Network Developers
  • Network Engineers
