Andrew Borg focuses on identifying the enablers and friction points in the adoption of wireless and mobility technologies within the enterprise, and in the markets those enterprises serve. His particular interest is in documenting the behavioral and procedural adaptations that the most successful companies within an industry have made; and then in disseminating those best practices for a broader audience to benefit from.
Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in the forefront of the high technology industry. He served as Vice President of Marketing at Vaultus Mobile Technologies, Inc., an enterprise mobility software company, and Managing Director, Next Generation Services, then Vice President, Knowledge Resources for RoweCom. Prior to RoweCom, he was Vice President Worldwide, Marketing & Sales, for Trident International, and Director of Corporate Communications Worldwide for Electronics for Imaging, Inc. He has held key roles in marketing at Scitex America, Du Pont de Nemours & Co., and Crosfield Electronics. He is also founder and principal eC3 Consulting, a strategic marketing services firm to industry leaders in wireless services, enterprise mobility, and digital content delivery. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Andrew was CEO of Hi-Beam Entertainment, a first-mover in immersive media and performance technology.

Borg holds a Masters Degree in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelors Degree from Harvard University.


Satyam Tyagi
Satyam Tyagi Director, Technology & Marketing, Sipera Systems

Satyam Tyagi joined Sipera Systems (the pioneer of Voice over IP and Unified Communications Security) at its inception. His roles at Sipera Systems have ranged from Software Development, VoIP Exploit Research, Product Management and Technical Marketing. Prior to Sipera Systems he was a Developer for Cisco Systems CallManager Enterprise grade IP-PBX. Satyam holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University.


Adam Boone

Adam Boone is VP of Marketing for Sipera, where he leads the company’s marketing, product marketing and demand generation initiatives.

With nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and strategy, Boone was previously Vice President of worldwide marketing at Subex, the global market leader for telecom business optimization solutions and fraud management. Boone also held management positions in companies in the network equipment, unified communications, telecommunications software and related industries, including Marconi, FORE Systems, Syndesis and CoManage.

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration in business strategy from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and completed the Competitive Marketing Strategy Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Marisa Torrieri

Washington, D.C., native Marisa Torrieri got her start as a telecommunications journalist nine years ago as editor of Wireless Data News, a b-to-b publication based out of Rockville, Maryland. While there, she served as the daily show reporter for CTIA, PCIA and other industry conferences. One of her favorite interviews was with CDMA pioneer Andrew Viterbi, upon his retirement at QUALCOMM. She comes to TMC after a four years of freelance writing and editing for a number of high-tech publications, including RFID News, Laptop magazine and RFID Update.

Marisa possesses a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from The University of Maryland, in College Park.
