Julian Watson
Senior Principal Analyst, IoT IHS Markit

Julian Watson is the senior principal analyst of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity research at IHS Markit. He is responsible for analyzing IoT technologies, applications and business models.

Prior to this, Julian was Director of Operators research with IHS Technology's Mobile and Telecom team. In this role he developed analysis of operators' bundling business models, emerging markets footprint strategies and M&A opportunities. He also undertook custom research for operators, equipment vendors and regulatory authorities on issues such quad play strategies, VoIP and fixed broadband market segmentation.

Julian has been widely quoted on mobile market consolidation, quad-play and telecoms regulatory developments by media outlets such as the BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN and Reuters. Julian has a BA in Politics and Russian from the University of Leeds. He is based in London, United Kingdom.

Cyril Hullin
VP Product Strategy & Marketing, Cloud & Connectivity Services, Sierra Wireless

Cyril Hullin brings the experience of business interaction with vertical players throughout the world. He understands IoT market pain points and what solutions can accelerate new IoT projects in different market segments. Before the Mobiquithings (Now Sierra Wireless) venture, he was the EMEA Director for Bell Labs Business Modelling group for Alcatel-Lucent.

Robert Vacheron
Senior Director, Product Management, Industrial IoT,
Sierra Wireless

Robert has spent over 25 years working in the telecommunication, industry, having spent time at AT&T Labs, Motorola and Numerex (now Sierra Wireless). His experience includes engineering design, product development, and project and product management. With Sierra Wireless, he is currently responsible for the Industrial IoT business, which includes tank monitoring and asset tracking.
