Paths to Success for Boat Service Companies

Watch Archive Today

The Boat Services Industry (as well as residential, health, automotive, etc.) is on the brink of a massive evolution in terms of delivering a more comprehensive set of services – under an "ongoing management" services model rather than one-off repair services model. Consumers are demanding a higher, more comprehensive level of consumer services from their boatyard, and marine businesses are starting to migrate from a one-off repair/maintenance services model to a more strategic, ongoing recurring-revenue monitoring or management model. This webinar introduces this evolutionary model and gives the attendee a framework to consider which could move their business up the ladder to recurring revenue, high customer stickiness, sustainability and more predictability in cash flows.

What attendees will learn:

  • Four stage business growth model (going from tactical services to strategic services) – From boat Repair and Maintenance to comprehensive and proactive boat Monitoring and Management
  • How to begin migrating your business up the ladder toward full managed services
  • How to start changing the way you talk to customers in order to foster these more strategic, ongoing relationships
  • Anecdotes and successes from various boatyards

Who should attend:

  • Any marine services provider – boatyard, fleet management, boat rental, broker/dealer, concierge, marina
