Sara Hughes joined GENBAND in April 2007 as director of applications product marketing. She came to GENBAND via the Tekelec acquisition where she was director of product management and strategy for the VoIP Application Server formerly known as VocalData. She served as director of product management, training and documentation for VocalData since 2000. Prior to joining VocalData, Sara worked for Global Knowledge, Nortel and GTE Customer Networks. Sara has over 15+ years of telecommunications experience as a customer, service provider and manufacturer with extensive experience in technical support, customer training and delivery, and product management delivering enhanced next generation application & IMS services to many of the world's largest carriers. Sara holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing and Information Systems.
