IP Contact Centers - How is voice quality measured on your network?

Tuesday, July 28, 2009
2:00pm ET / 11:00am PT

Would you walk across a highway with your eyes closed? Probably not. The truth is, most VoIP applications are delivered to customer sites without any metrics or visibility into the health of the network; in other words – with closed eyes. Whether you are deploying an active solution, such as an IVR system, or a passive product used for call logging, the health of the end user’s network directly impacts the quality of your VoIP application. What can you do about contact center voice quality? What can you do if the root cause is poor network conditions or other applications? As more and more companies migrate to VoIP, this scenario is a reality. By adding simple quality of service (QoS) capabilities to your VoIP enabled application you can now monitor the health of the end customer’s contact center application. Whether you are a developer, reseller or end user, join us for this informative web-based seminar to learn a number of different techniques that can identify voice quality issues in network deployments and allow you to direct your resources to resolve issues fast.

Topics discussed:

• Overview of VoIP QoS techniques used today
• Port Statistics
• Network Transport Errors
• Passively Monitoring Audio Quality
• Determining QoS of call signaling
• Reducing development effort and time to market

Be sure to bring your questions!

After the presentation, the webcast will be open for a live Q&A.
