Mike Frane joined New Edge Networks in November of 2008 to manage the company’s private MPLS network product line. Since joining New Edge, Mike has overseen the launch of numerous products including 3G wireless, Ethernet and IPsec MPLS access elements. He is currently developing the next suite of products for New Edge including Managed Security, Voice over IP and the Application Exchange, a suite of interconnected software and platform services.
Before Joining New Edge Networks, Mike worked for Pacific LightNet Communications, a facilities-based CLEC. In his 7 years at Pacific LightNet he held a number of positions including marketing, business development and strategic planning and ended his tenure as VP of Sales, Marketing and Development. Highlights of these roles included the establishment of retail operating centers, development of a self-service application portal, two strategic acquisitions, and the development and deployment of a fixed wireless broadband network, a Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) network and an IP SoftSwitch. In conjunction with the hardware deployment Mike was also responsible for delivering the first Hosted PBX and Ethernet First Mile (EFM) products to the market.
Mike has a BS in Genetics and Cellular Biology from the University of Minnesota and was involved in gene therapy research at the Institute of Human Genetics before entering the telecommunications industry as a business analyst for a small investment firm based in the Pacific Northwest.

Todd Lattanzi is a senior product manager for ADTRAN, a leading provider of voice and data networking equipment for small and mid-size businesses and branch office applications. Todd has been instrumental in the design, development and management of the company’s entire line of NetVanta voice and data networking products as well as the ongoing development of the ADTRAN Operating System. Lattanzi provides over 15 years of experience in telecom. In addition to his work with the award-winning NetVanta product line, he previously managed the company’s Frame Relay and network management product lines. His background also includes design engineering for the company’s ISDN terminal adapters, where he was awarded two patents for ISDN technology development. Todd has been a featured speaker at numerous industry events as well as a published author in trade journals.
