NEI, Dell, and GE Intelligent Platforms invite you to a webinar that describes deployment solutions, increasing application performance, and shortening time to revenue with a NEBS certified application ready platform. Topics of discussion include:
  • Performance requirements for Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), encryption/decryption and traffic management
  • The role of packet processors and their growing importance
  • How this type of platform can make your application work more efficiently
  • Why it is an ideal deployment platform for session border controllers, WiMax, and 4G wireless applications

The increased demand for network security, multi-gigabit processing, and traffic management created a strong need for solutions that incorporate intelligent packet processors to increase efficiency and performance. Many technology companies have created pieces and parts that addressed specific aspects of the solution but will these disparate parts interoperate, can the hardware be adapted to address the increased power requirements, who will complete the testing, validation and NEBS certification? Wouldn’t it be easier to focus your efforts on creating next-gen security gateway applications and partner with someone that has completed all of these steps to shorten time-to-market and ease deployment and service issues?

About the Solution
The foundation of the solution is NEI’s N-2710 2U carrier grade server based on the Dell PowerEdge R710 server featuring high performance and power efficiency to provide improved performance-per-watt. GE’s industry leading OCTEON-based PCIe IP packet processing capabilities provide secure, high-speed connectivity and complex security processing at wire speed performance.
