Richard Tywoniak joined Cisco in August of 2000 and has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, ranging from start-up to Fortune 500 companies. He is a Senior Marketing Manager for Cisco's IP Communications Business Unit where, for the last five years, he has been responsible for managing Cisco’s third party Technology Developer Program. During this time he has managed a team that overseas IP Communications Partners who deliver a variety of advanced applications that compliment Cisco’s portfolio of products.
Richard received both his BA and his MBA in Marketing from the University of California at Berkeley.

This session will introduce you to development of media-rich, converged applications on the Cisco Unified Application Environment, with emphasis on how existing capabilities of the platform can enable rapid development that leverages an existing Unified Communications infrastructure. We will also focus on how the platform can be extended to make relevant applications that converge voice with enterprise applications and data. Organizations can use these new converged applications to improve communications, transform business processes and create competitive advantage.
